Surrounding Area

The Monastery of the Life-Giving Spring, also known as St Petka, is located nearby and is stated to be the only inhabited monastery in the Strandzha mountains, Bulgaria. Its altar section contains the ayazmo (holy spring) known as the Life-Giving Spring, which is reputed to have healing properties.

A further landmark known as Markov Kamak is located approximately 11 km from the villa village.
